Spine Road contributor, Sarah Suzor, wrote some words & someone else liked them and paid someone else to print them on a bunch of identical objects, and wants to sell & celebrate these words in NYC tomorrow.  So if you’re in the area, go (here’s the info).  If you’re not, buy Sarah’s book, The Principle Agent, from Black Lawrence Press, and go to sleep soundly.  Dream that your mom no longer takes all those prescription pills, that she’s embraced homeopathy, and does yoga.

SR3 IS HERE

Sr3
Yesterday marked the end of Daylight Savings Time.  But at the edge of everything is the edge of something else.  For instance, with the exception of Arizona, we North Americans lost an hour of daylight; but on the same day this condition came upon us, we also gained 12 new things to read on the internet in the form of Spine Road, issue 3.  ”There’s already millions of things to read on the interweb!” you might say gruffly, your mouth half-full of potato salad.  To this I say, “true.”  True.  But now you have millions of other, mediocre things + 12 really really great things.  For example, Counterpath Press’ Tim Roberts has an a series of poems in SR3.  As does SpringGun Press’sss Erin Costello.  Do you like people named Wythe?  Because we have one of them in SR3!

Your dad will finally be proud of you.
